Trần Văn Được is a very nice teacher, young but smart. He helped me a lot with my reading and pronunciation. Also he prepared many videos in vietnamese language with vietnamese subtitles and English translation. It is very useful for practicing listening and understanding. Thank you very much!

It was such a pleasure to chat with Được again after several months! Once again, I was so impressed with how he managed to keep our conversation going for a whole 45 minutes on a range of interesting topics from COVID vaccines, politics, fake news, and some tourism to top it off! He achieves this despite the fact that my level is still quite low. I learned so much from this conversation, and as always, at the end, Được sent me a clear list of the new vocabulary that had come up organically in conversation. Được is one of my favorite Italki teachers and I highly recommend him!

Fantastic lesson with Được. Every time, I am impressed with how he can get a going on a topic well above my level in Vietnamese, one I have not prepared nor ever tried to discuss in the language, yet he makes a genuinely interesting conversation happen. He makes you forget you're in a Vietnamese lesson as you become really eager to exchange with him and understand his point if view. I end up learning a ton of new vocabulary and ideas.
