I am Kenyan by Nationality but I have been living in different parts of the world. I am an individual who loves travelling, cultural exchange as well as making friends. My hobbies are cooking, writing poems, reading, working out and going out on adventures. I am a certified English teacher and a community Swahili teacher but I am an entrepreneur/global project manager by profession.

I am a Swahili community teacher and a certified English teacher with 4 years of experience. I enjoy teaching as I come up with my own lesson plans. My methodologies aim at improving the students' ability to speak the language.

Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil

I have two methodologies. one focuses on continuous lesson plan from introduction to Swahili to Grammar, dialogues and essay writing while the other one is according to the students wish. Some students prefer to come up with their own topics of study or practice conversation depending on their reason for studying Swahili. My lessons cover all aspects in terms of speaking, listening and writing. I give homework and tests too.

Great lesson. Jacky was extremely helpful and very friendly, she typed things out for me to ensure I understood them and also asked me to pronounce things so she could check my pronunciation. She is very knowledgeable and I love the fact that she was able to explain to me the difference in the Swahili spoken in Nairobi and the deeper Swahili spoken on the coastal areas and Tanzania. We also got to speak about music too which was great! Asante sana Jackie. Speak to you soon :-)
