Sue is amazing! As always my favorite teacher who is not only kind, patient and supportive but also very intelligent and lovely as well! Having conversations with her is fun and she makes learning Russian so much more interesting!

Today we spent two whole hours on my questions. I don't know how Sue managed to stay perfectly calm and concentrated from start to finish: a normal person would have been driven up the wall, due to both the complexity of the topics and my dullness. In my opinion this characteristic gives her an edge over many other teachers, even professional ones, because – let's face it – some parts of Russian are very challenging for students who don't know any other Slavic language; getting help from somebody who is willing to rephrase the same concept again and again, exemplifying it half a dozen times and dealing with your counterexamples no matter how off they are, can make the difference between success and failure.
