Hello there Arabic Learners! If you're an absolute beginner but hesitating to kick start learning Arabic, no worries, because starting easy and simple with basics will definitely break the ice. It's just about time.
If you have a good grasp on the language but want to strengthen it even more, we could have normal conversations with a particular topic for each session. Take your time and feel comfortable to express yourself because I'll give you my notices only in the last 10 minutes.
feel free during the session to ask any question you'd like a clear answer for. Other details would be addressed when we meet :)
good luck
Ich als Lehrkraft
I'm an English language graduate and a certified teacher, and therefore can assist you on your learning process and instruct you to prepare for you exams. I taught English in private lessons, I began semester with students and ended them with preparing for their exams, and also helped learners of Arabic in Turkey on preparing for tests. Teaching Arabic came along in 2010 when I gave voluntary lessons for students of cultural exchange in the Higher Institute for Languages. The desire to teach my mother tongue motivates me to work hard, especially when seeing things progressing steadily. I teach for a variety of goals, like conversational, media and business Arabic. Questions are welcome.
Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil
I have different methods to teach and choosing one of them depends on the student's goal, level and tendency combined.
I got a good curriculum for Syrian Arabic. It's simple and efficient with many examples, texts and dialogues.
I use visual and audible materials to assist your learning process.
I provide sets of sentences for you to read where I correct the reading, translate and explain the gammar in them.
Articles from the internet are always good ready materials that we can discuss.
Mohammed is a great teacher and i'm enjoying my lessons with him. He's very relaxed and although he's not listed as a professional teacher, in my opinion he's as informative and knowledgable as other professional teachers i've been taught by on italki. He also speaks perfect english which helps when I need more difficult things explaining to me. Highly recommended.

Had a great lesson with Mohammed on Sunday. We talked about our lives, how things are going where we're each living, soccer/football and Leicester City, healthcare systems in different countries, raffles and lotteries, and classics like the Odyssey and the Epic of Gilgamesh. Some of the new vocab words I learned included صَداقَة (friendship), عَداوِة (enmity/hostility), مُؤَلِّف (author), طِلّاب (students), فَريق (teams), صِدْفِة (coincidence), مْكَرْكَب (a mess), مَتحَف (museum), مَتاحِف (museums), فَساد (corruption), إدْمان (addiction), أوْلَوِيِّة (priority), أولَويّات (priorities), الرِّعايِة الصِّحيِّة (healthcare system), and فَعّالِة (efficient/effective).

Had a great lesson with Mohammed today. We talked about our lives, our past weeks, how things are going in each of our respective countries, the recently escalated conflict between Israelis and Palestinians, and things that we have been up to today. Some vocab words Mohammed taught me today were جيران (neighbors), مَدَنِيّين (civilians), and صاروخ (development).
