Hello! My name is Hannah and I’m from the United States! I grew up in sunny Los Angeles, California where I also received my Bachelor’s Degree in Illustration. I have been living and teaching English in South Korea for about 2 and a half years. I enjoy living in another country and experiencing a new culture and language! I have a lot of experience learning different languages! I studied Spanish in middle school through high school and a year in University. I also have been studying Japanese on and off for about 10 years. Lastly, since living in Korea I have been trying to learn Korean!

I currently teach English to adult students in Seoul at a private language school. I teach many different kinds of people! College students, businessmen, medical professionals, you name it! I have also received a 120 hour TEFL (teaching english as a foreign language) certificate! I specialize in conversational and practical English. I want to encourage you to feel confident in your speaking and to not to worry about making mistakes! English is a language spoken by many different people from around the world so it is always changing.

Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil

In my classroom we will have flexible lessons depending on what you’re interested in learning! I want to emphasize conversational English and getting used to speaking and explaining your own ideas. I believe the best way to learn grammar and vocabulary is by doing and repetition, so I will encourage you to speak, finish sentences, and make your own sentences! I understand how difficult it can be to learn a new language, but we can work hard together!
