I've been enjoying the classes with Jen so far. Tonight she started to push me into speaking more Mandarin. It was the roughest class so far but it was a good kind of rough. I think I'll learn better and faster by having to use the language more quickly. She's always patient with my slow talking and gives pretty good explanations about the grammar and vocab I'm learning at the moment.

As usual, another good session with Jen today.

Great lesson as always. Highly recommend Jen to anyone learning Chinese. When I started learning a couple years ago Jen was the best teacher around. With her help I was able to conquer all the beginner stuff: tones, pronunciation, basic vocab etc. These days I'm learning some HSK4 vocab and Jen is helping me with some intermediate level grammar... her lessons are still very helpful for me. It doesn't matter which parts of the Chinese language you want to learn (spoken/written/grammar/other), Jen will quickly determine your level, find some learning resources that suit you best, and provide an enjoyable learning experience.
