For the past eigh years, I have studied and taught the Arabic language to non-native speakers. My education has progress from initial theoretical study being awarded a Master's Degree in the Department of Curriculum and Teaching Methods of Helwan University. I have taught Arabic to students of many nationalities – American, British, Indian, Pakistani, Italian, Chinese, and Australian. I have taught students in a broad range of age groups – from children to adults. I have written and modified curricula of teaching, developed testing methods, added practice activity, and supervised educational trips to Egypt for foreign students. I see teaching as a sublime profession, whereas often it is seen as just as a profession to make a living. For me, teaching is also a message and a link between grandparents and children, between the past, present and future, and between friends. A teacher is not just a carrier of information. Teaching is more like a good motion picture in which the teacher is the director, author, and critic of the production.
What do I teach?
I teach the Arabic language in either of two formats – Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) and Egyptian Standard Arabic.
Why am I teaching?
I teach to help students achieve fluency in reading, writing, and speaking Arabic. A secondary reason is to share the culture of AraMein Unterrichtsmaterial
