I have been teaching children for about 30 years. My specialty is working with children with Special Needs - particularly those who have difficulties with reading, spelling and maths. I am also involved in Adult Education, helping women who are training to be preschool teachers. Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil
I have been working with students on Italki since 2013, and have loved meeting people from all over the world. My approach is to focus on reading a current news item together - which assists with fluency and vocabulary building. We then discuss the topic, giving an opportunity to improve communication skills. We also work on some language exercises that help to consolidate the vocabulary.
I have also had some experience at working with children on Italki - where we have focused on vocabulary building and fluency.
