In my country we celebrate new year on 31 December to 1 January. The whole family sit down around a big table with traditional food. Traditional new year’s food is a winter salad, olivie(?) and something else. When the president says his congratulations, we give gifts to our family. We put gifts under the tree. I think everybody loves new year because this holiday is amazing and everyone loves to receive gifts.
