Before the trip, I taught art classes for kids in Colombia, some of them on vacation came mostly from the United States and France. There, what we were looking for was that they can get closer to Spanish language through art. Later, during the trip, I managed to put into practice art workshops in some volunteering positions, this time for kids who wanted to learn English.

I'm a persons who constantly is improving his expertise, teaching methods and the tools I use in the classroom. Also, I'm humbly proud my students often point out that my patience, good sense of humor and real interest in their process of learning has been the key element of their succes. I always curate my classes for every single student I have.

I am a qualified Spanish teacher with experience teaching both children and adults. Currently, I am teaching Spanish at an dedicated language school in Xela, Guatemala. This has included teaching students from different backgrounds and ages.

Utilizo herramientas encontradas en internet con páginas de educación, videos de Youtube en español y plataformas como Kahoot y Canva para que sea más interactivo el impartir el conocimiento.

I have around 10 years of experience teaching languages. I have experience teaching general managers, executives, university students, teenagers and kids. I want my students to feel comfortable and happy taking lessons with me. I prepare students for job interviews, for traveling as a tourist ,for making a life abroad, and for studying abroad. I've been teaching for more than 3 years and I try to adapt my lessons to every student. I'm an ELE certified teacher so it doesn't matter if your goal is taking a Spanish test or just improving your communication skills, I'll be happy to help you. I am studying the last year of my career as a computer engineer and I have learned the didactics of how to teach informally to a student. I have been teaching at Italki for more than 1 year. In 2011 I signed up at the Teaching Training College, where not only did I learn about languages but also about pedagogy. For this reason, I always design meaningful lessons based on the communicative approach and the four skills (Reading, writing, speaking and listening). These lessons are always prepared taking into consideration the interests of the learner and the objectives set to improve any aspect of the language. Besides, I try to create a good and comfortable atmosphere where the learner feels free of making mistakes and they are seen as a way to improve the learning path.

Let me present myself hoping that you give me the chance to be your company on the way to accomplishing your intellectual dream of learning a new language: I have been teaching Spanish, Turkish and English for a long time now. I've worked with students from diverse age-groups and levels. I wholeheartedly believe in speaking practice accompanied with grammatical corrections being the best way to learn and master a language. Moreover, I am known amongst my friends as a person with a high intellect of linguistic comprehension. So, I can easily study your own native language's grammatical structure and help you familiarize easier with Spanish/English or Turkish by relating them with each other.

As you may know, Mexico has many regions that are very much different from one another. If you are interested in knowing more about Mexican way of life/mindset, I'll be delighted to help you through that journey. Or, perhaps you are just interested in the language, as Spanish is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world. The best way to practice it is by speaking it. I can be a good listener as well as conversation partner to help you feel more comfortable speaking in Spanish. Also please feel free to ask me about Spanish or Latin American culture whenever you want. I'd love to encourage my students to think about the cultural differences talk with me anytime.
