I have studied Japanese for about 6 years now, so I understand what learning a language is like. It is definitely hard (to learn a language), but I also think that speaking another language is a super power. I have helped many exchange students with their English while at University, and I also have tutored abroad while on my exchange in Nagoya, Japan. I am currently living in Taiwan and teaching Japanese to over 50 students. I have experience teaching Japanese beginners－intermediate. I think it is important to talk a lot with native speakers, so use only Japanese in the lesson. It is okay if you make a mistake. I will teach you slowly and carefully. I try to teach Japanese according to your Japanese level. I’ll correct the grammar and teach more natural expressions. Let’s study Japanese together!

After I came to Vancouver, I realized that how speaking English could expand my possibilities and allow me to meet wonderful people, and at the same time, I also came to appreciate that I was born in Japan and know the language and culture (especially food haha). That's how I came to think that I wanted to help other people to learn, understand and enjoy Japanese culture and to expand their possibilities too!

I've started teaching Japanese since 2011. Until 2 years ago, I used to teach Japanese on italki as a communicate tutor. While my absence, I’ve studied Japanese education at university to get a certificate in teaching Japanese, then I'm back again!

From that experience, I’m good at speaking in easy way. My friends really like how I talk to them and they told me that they feel comfortable to talk to me in Japanese and that made me so happy. I really like helping people with Japanese and I really enjoy it!

I was working in Japane more than 10 years, also I have a working experience in Korean company, and now I'm living in Poland. Those international experince gave me more and more rich knowledge about world. It means, I can propose you a lot of topics to talk with. I'm very easy person and cheerfull, love to talk someone, and I know how to encourage students! If there is any problems for understanding, I can also explain in English, in Korean. So you don't need to worry about communication with me if you know those language :) The most important thing is to make you feel relax, when we study Japanese -, not to feel like stressing work.

I have been teaching Japanese since 2014. My students have nationalities from more than 12 countries like Korean, Singaporean, Malaysian, Filipino, Chinese, French, Polish, Indian, and American in Shanghai and Japan, from 2 and a half years old kids to adults. Most of them are beginner level or advanced level.
