I love having meaningful conversations with students that go beyond basic conversation. My lessons often include games, critical thinking exercises, and debates. I engage students in conversations about ethics and current events. I'm always happy to discuss politics if my students would like to. As a teacher, I try to find out what you're passionate about and customize our work in order to relate it to your interests. If you're engaged and interested in the content, you're more likely to gain English fluency.

I have often taught Italian and have always been sociable and willing to talk about many different topics.

I am a qualified(with distinction) TEFL teacher. I have 3 years of experience working in Spain teaching high school students of all ages. I currently teach private lessons too to both children and adults.

I’ve been teaching English for about six years in Japan. My English accent is a London accent. Every year in spring and autumn, I teach academic English to undergraduate students in Japan. I teach speaking, listening, reading and writing courses. I also have experience teaching business English to the employees of a Japanese multinational company, one of the leading semiconductor companies in the world. I have also taught English to nurses in Japan.

As a teacher, I try my best to create a friendly, welcoming space for you to learn English. I know how nerve-wracking it can be as a language learner, no matter what level you are, and so I want you to feel happy and comfortable during our lessons to make mistakes and not feel embarrassed. Making mistakes with me is the best thing you can do as I'll correct you (nicely, of course!) and help you stop making that mistake again. All of this will be done naturally as I don't want anyone to feel overwhelmed by English, particularly when speaking with me. Due to my style of teaching and personal preference, I do not teach children.

My lessons are focused on building your skills in all areas of language learning: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. During the lesson, we will work on speaking and listening through role-playing activities ("scheduling a meeting", "ordering a pizza"), speaking tasks (job interviews, introducing yourself), and conversations about topics that interest you. News articles, homework, and other authentic materials are provided to help increase your vocabulary and fluency. All classes are conducted on Zoom.

Building a strong foundation for the student to excel in their life journey is my goal. Motivating them and making sure they enjoy developing their language skills is my job. It may sound cheesy, but it’s true nonetheless; seeing the smile on the faces of students is my reward. I've taught English for the past two years in Singapore, China, Myanmar. My focus has always been phonemic awareness and vocabulary building. Hence I'll be able to help you best with pronunciation and literacy skills.

As a Teacher my Teaching method involves an friendly and relaxed approach . I have a calm and relaxed style of Teaching To help my Students' with a preferred learning style that is relevant to them , And whatever it takes to keep my Students' interested and help them achieve their goal .

I have tutored before at several levels - from absolute beginner to business English, both children and adults. I have taught for around 4 years in total, to native speakers of all mother tongues. My method for language learning is not focused on memorising grammar, but rather on making language learning fun. My students and I chat about our day to day lives and problems and debate art and politics. More than students, I call the people I meet on italki friends. Lastly, we can target our lessons for a specific type of spoken English; be it formal or conversational, or about any specific topic.

I enjoy learning and found out through tutoring that I also enjoy sharing and explaining things to my peers and students. Moreover, they enjoy my energy and seem to benefit from my teaching style, which makes the experience even more fulfilling and motivating! Currently, I teach general English, TOEFL and TOEIC preparation classes along with Business English at an international English school and an adult learning center where I volunteer. I know the challenges learning a new language can present, and I believe in continuously improving my teaching skills through a variety of professional training that I can customize to help my students progress faster and excel in their learning!

In the first lesson we will talk about the reason you are taking lessons and what you want to learn from the class. From there I can work out what we need to focus on and what you want to improve and achieve. I can provide home work and constructive feedback. Each lesson will be tailored specifically to your needs.

I have six years teaching experience. I have taught students of different ages, including children from five upwards, and teenagers. I can teach all levels, including beginners.

What originally led me to teaching were my high school teachers and my mother who always has talked about her grandfather that was a teacher. Teaching is a noble profession. I enjoy explaining how we in the US say the words (pronounce them) and how we put sentences together so they sound right. I think I'm a good teacher of English.

In 2011 I signed up at the Teaching Training College, where not only did I learn about languages but also about pedagogy. For this reason, I always design meaningful lessons based on the communicative approach and the four skills (Reading, writing, speaking and listening). These lessons are always prepared taking into consideration the interests of the learner and the objectives set to improve any aspect of the language. Besides, I try to create a good and comfortable atmosphere where the learner feels free of making mistakes and they are seen as a way to improve the learning path.

As a foreign language learner myself I know what are the struggles that a student might have when learning a language. So I'd be glad to help and advise you on your language journey! I've taught English online to students of all ages from Kazakhstan and Russia since my student years and now on italki along with English I also teach Kazakh and Russian to students from all over the world. I have been teaching some private courses for about 3 years now. My students range from the age of 6 to the age of 35. I do private courses both online and offline. I do not really treat my students as students. I treat them as my friends. With this, I believe that there is no power distance between us that hopefully can make the students feel less pressured.
