Teaching is a family profession. Afterwards, I started working very young, and have continued teaching ever since for more than 22 years. I’ve taught various groups: from kindergarten all the way up to post-graduate. A teacher should always study and continue to learn. So through my career I’ve gathered many certificates, diplomas and other documents including TOEFL Test preparation, First Certificate, Advanced Reading, Teaching by Competences, etc. Graduated with a minor in Human Resources, I’ve also studied ESL for business skills like job interviews, accounting, importing and exporting in North America, and customer service.

Since 2015 I have taught full time to students from 13 to 65 years of age, from basic academic skills to advanced business levels (for companies like Amazon, LinkedIn, Burger King and Walmart), and to people from all continents; always adapting to their needs. I got my certification as a foreign language teacher from the National Autonomous University of Mexico in 2019. I can switch from English to Spanish or vice versa if needed (but I generally prefer only to speak in the language I teach), and I can also support with different accents, formal expressions or slang. I have helped others presenting international certifications such as the IELTS, TOEFL and USA and Mexico citizenship.

I specialize in beginners and I have a lot of experience with intermediate and advanced students. Have you ever had a grammar question that your tutor could not answer? Well, I have studied grammar thoroughly and can explain to you why things are said the way they are supposed to be said. There wouldn't be any language barrier; I took the Oxford Online Placement Test and scored C1, so my English is advanced. I like sharing my screen with my students so we can watch YouTube videos at the same time and do listening exercises, I also like to translate songs and articles. I don't like dull conversations, so I always make sure conversations keep flowing naturally and pleasantly.
