I discovered I wanted to be a full-time teacher when I moved to Poland and started to teach sporadically. After I came back to Spain I took a course on teaching skills and started to teach independently. And I loved it! The more I tough the more I liked it... and I still love it. I have helped many students over the last 6 years to be confident when speaking Spanish. My area of expertise is verbs and conjugations. So if you need help understanding the different kinds of past tenses to be sure I have plenty of resources to help you with that. I have helped many students to successfully use past tenses. When it comes to my personal qualities I would identify as very patient and supportive.

Both my parents were teachers so I guess teaching is in my blood. Whenever a student reaches a goal, speaks fluently or passes an exam, it makes me so happy and so proud of him/her. It's as simply (or complicated) as that. I have been teaching Spanish as a foreign language for twelve years. I've lived many years outside of my country and, therefore, I know exactly how it feels to live in a place where a language other than your own is spoken. On the other hand, my experience as a student of English, Portuguese and Hebrew, helps me to understand the process and the difficulties in acquiring a second language. I studied Social Communication, precisely because I have always been interested in interacting with people and I am also a Senior Technician in Tourism.

I decided to become a teacher when I was in the university, since I often studied with my classmates. I like to share my knowledge, and that's why I chose the teaching vocation. I believe humans become proficient in a language as a by-product of being engaged in communication. This means we learn a language when we understand it and when we communicate meaning. My teaching is based on a contemporary communicative approach that is informed by current research on Second Language Acquisition. I incorporate techniques from TPR (Total Physical Response), TPRS (Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling) and task-based language learning.
