In order to make my classes fun and interactive, I always ask my student for his likes or topics of interest and teach my class based on that. It is a really good icebreaker and a way to learn feeling comfortable.

I moved from Venezuela to Ecuador 2 years ago, and I've been working as an English teacher since then. I've been acquiring a lot of experience and technical teaching knowledge which I apply when teaching. I have worked in three different language institutes in Ecuador teaching English and Spanish in which I had to learn different types of teaching methods and also work with a wide rank of ages. I've taught students from 5 to 65 years old.

Me gusta centrarme sobre todo en la expresión y la comprensión oral. Podemos tener conversaciones sobre viajes, comida, historia, deporte, trabajo y todo lo que se te ocurra. I think it’s important to create a friendly environment that’s why as a community tutor, I want the students to know we can speak about so many different things, it can be their hobbies, their interests or something they just read on the news.
