Prior to becoming a Film Editor, I worked as an English teacher in Guatemala City where I acquired an English Teacher Certificate at IGA (Instituto-Guatemalteco- Americano) While working as a teacher; I had the opportunity to work with different types of people; I taught children, teenagers, and adults. I have more than ten years of experience teaching Spanish both at university and at secondary level. I hold Qualified Teacher Status in modern foreign languages and I also have a MA with distinction in English studies. Teaching language has given me the privilege to inspire my students to look at the world with different eyes, and to be the facilitator of the invaluable skill that it is to learn a different language. During my career I have successfully influenced many people’s lives; some of my students have become language teachers themselves and others have relocated to Spanish speaking countries.

I've attended language classes for some time and I know everything that one goes through while learning languages including the boring and depressive times.
