I have over 4 years of experience as a private home/online tutor. In June 2016 I passed the Cambridge C2 proficiency exam.

I am a language learner myself and this helps me significantly to be a much better teacher. I prefer conversational style and I welcome mistakes as I believe they are natural in any learning process. I am a big believer of feedback. In our lessons I can provide it at certain stages of our lesson (without interrupting you) or after the lesson - whatever suits you better. I like taking notes during the lesson and then sending students feedback using Google Docs. This way you can always easily access your notes. I also like sending students a short voice message on WhatsApp, so they can practise listening and learn how to pronounce new vocabulary.

I have experience teaching languages ever since I became fluent in my second language, English. I used to help my schoolmates with conversation skills as well as with grammar. I also gained experience teaching both Polish and English to my neighbours' children from the very beginning. During the high school time, I attended multiple international projects including student exchanges and Berlin Model United Nations. This experiences helped me gain language advancement. I've been providing tutoring and conversational practice to people learning English and Polish from around the world. I do my best to adjust my teaching methods to each student so I can most effectively boost their potential.

I used to be an English teacher in Georgia for half a year, I also had several lessons on English, Polish, Italian, and Russian online and at home. It's already more than 2 years since I started teaching Polish and I had students from all over the world. I prefer conversations and using grammar patterns in actual, real sentences than studying various tables with rules, cases, etc. I believe that the best way to learn a language is by listening and trying to imitate what you've heard later on in the speech. I also know what it means to be a student as I take classes on Italki myself. I know how it feels to be "on the other side of the camera" and understand your struggles and problems.

Teaching Polish since 2016, English part-time since 2013. Two times (Nov. 2017 - Feb. 2018, Feb. - March 2020) spent couple of months in Kenya as a teacher in a primary school. I was also working as a translator on documentary film festival: responsible for preparing Polish subtitles to foreign movies and correcting them. I can help you with speaking more confidently, understanding the grammar, reducing the accent and much more!

Learning foreign languages is my great passion. I speak or learn several of them. I know how important it is to practice speaking. Not everybody is lucky to have native speakers at hand. From time to time I help some of my friends living abroad to improve their Polish. I myself use italki to practice Italian and Arabic. I asked myself: why not help others with their Polish through italki? So I decided to become a tutor. I will do my best to do it in a funny, engaging and stress-free way. I know what you feel, what are your struggles and what is your goal. I was there and I was dealing with difficulties, I know them well. Success is about breaking the ice. My advice? Start speaking, talking no matter the mistakes. Don’t be perfect. Be you! Speak out loud even if you aren’t sure. I have a big experience teaching foreign languages (English and French) to children in Warsaw, Paris and Madrid since 2014. I was teaching at the centre of activities, private houses, teaching as a volunteer and while taking care of children. At the moment I am teaching Polish to my partner who is French and who wants to have a conversational level in Polish. I absolutely love teaching and it gives me so much joy to share my knowledge with others who are eager to learn. I have my own creative methods and systems of teaching and I adapt myself to the needs of a student as well.

I am a very patient, understanding and non-judgmental teacher, my knowledge of Psychology helps me to create a supportive, motivating, and friendly environment for my students. Moreover, I am not only taking into consideration my students’ aims in terms of learning a language but their lifestyle and personality. I believe that finding a ‘middle ground’ where students can feel challenged but not overwhelmed with information about new language is extremely important, especially in hectic everyday life.

Funny enough, when I was a kid I was repeating over and over that I’ d prefer to clean the streets than be a teacher since I was the teacher’s daughter. Never say never! It has started with some art and education projects that I was doing for underprivileged kids and teens in my neighborhood. Then I found a bunch of people with whom I have created a few beautiful projects that mainly you could summarize with a punch line: “Learning, exchanging, co-creating is FUN”. In addition, I have experience as an academic teacher and four years of experience teaching English all around Asia to all age groups and levels. And yes, I have TOEFL :)
