I instruct students on how to construct grammatically correct sentences, proper pronunciation, pitch accent, and also improve student’s vocabulary. I welcome students of all levels. For our lessons, we can use a book called Genki, but if you don’t have one, it’s totally no problem. I like playing guitar, which means we can talk about music as well as many other topics.

I’m hoping everyone to have fun and learn through conversational learning. I personally believe that talking to someone is the quickest way to learn the language as I learned English this way. I’m focusing on verbal skills but I will try to suit your style and if you would like to learn grammar, writing or even pronunciation, I will do my best to show you by using documents too.

I used to teach English to children at after-school care and I used to teach English online to both children and adults. I also have experience teaching Japanese here on Italki.

I am a qualified translator/interpreter from/to Japanese to/from English with a Japanese teacher certificate. I will use English for beginners with any textbook because I want you to understand the grammar well so that you can learn quickly. For intermediate/advanced learners, Japanese is primarily used to improve your Japanese expressions. I found many students who are learning Japanese at school can tell/speak what they want, but they struggle to communicate with Japanese people because of lack of meaningful listening. If you want to learn Japanese with your Japanese textbook such as "GENKI", I will teach according to the textbook. (I have GENKI 1,2). I will give you feedback after each lesson.
