As intermediate you can talk about all the aspects of the everyday life, or express deeper concepts, and I can help you to choose the right words and the correct sentence structures, that ones that italians use in a normal conversation. If you have particular needs or interest, we can deepen some topic or a specific technical language. I can also teach you the most common idioms in the spoken Italian, and we can even have a look to our body language, that we use very often.

Ho conseguito la laurea magistrale in lingua e cultura italiane per stranieri presso l' università di Bologna. Adesso sto frequentando un master di secondo livello in "Teoria, progettazione e didattica dell'italiano come lingua seconda e straniera" presso l'università di Palermo. Ho esperienze di insegnamento della lingua italiana, francese e inglese sia in ambito privato che pubblico. As a language learner, I know from experience that speaking is necessary to learn quickly and effectively. Most classes fall into the trap of using the same, highly ineffective, traditional teaching methods. Too much lecturing and theory leave students bored and tired. I have found a way to help my students to learn faster, and retain more information easily and quickly. My approach is based on a few fundamentals: listen and repeat, pronunciation, active thinking, spaced repetition. I believe in a flexible approach to language learning.

You set your goal, we set the steps to reach it, and then we work together to make it happen. With me you can reach an academic level, learn the business vocabulary in Italian, but also practice conversation on daily life topics. I have given many private lessons in Math and English, and I often do language exchanges with international people. So I know the difficulties of learning a new language and of practicing it with a mother tongue. I'm degree in Tourism but I also study Design in Italy and 3 years ago I (finally) got a master in Digital Marketing in Spain. When I reach my 30s I decided to travel around the world for 2 years where I used to teach private classes of Italian (my mother is an Italian Teacher so I learn from her) and also find my new home, actually in Laos (since 2013). This 7 years in Laos was for me a goal, because I got a job as Tour Guide for Italian/Spanish tour and open 3 Restaurant (as I like cooking Italian but also Asian Food). During COVID situation I was teaching Italian/Spanish to Asian people in Laos and learning also a new Language (Lao).

Over the past year I have gained a substantial amount of experience through this platform I am always looking to actualize my programs! I am very confident in my abilites and I think that there isn't just one best way to learn/teach a language, it all depends on a different variety of factors.Personally I believe that "attacking" the language on every front gives an overall better undestanding of it and therefore it makes it easier for the student to learn the language.

In base agli obiettivi dei miei studenti posso aiutarli a ottenere una certificazione linguistica riconosciuta dal livello A1 al C2 o approfondire in particolare la conversazione, lo sviluppo di un vocabolario specifico e di espressioni particolari (attualità, lavoro, viaggi, cultura italiana...), la competenza grammaticale, simulare un colloquio di lavoro, ecc. Per me fondamentale nell'apprendimento di una lingua è la motivazione, per cui programmo sempre le lezioni a partire dagli interessi dei miei studenti. Inizio infatti sempre dall'ascolto dei miei studenti, cerco di capire le loro esigenze e di scoprire tutto quello che possa stimolare in loro il piacere di seguire le lezioni con me.

Working as a teacher with many different students and learning styles forces me to adapt my materials and subjects to each and every person I have in front of me. Therefore teaching is never boring! I realised that students are mainly interested in conversation and developing the speaking tips that are so important to get through a real situation with native speakers. So, in my (our) lessons the student will be the one speaking, the main character who, with my guidance, will be able to find a way to express him/herself in a new language!

Cerco sempre di adeguare il mio modo di parlare al vostro livello linguistico, ma tendenzialmente parlerò in italiano, in modo da farvi abituare anche al suono della lingua. Sono un sostenitore del metodo “full immersion”: se si vuole imparare una lingua davvero, bisogna praticarla tanto. Per questo vi proporrò delle attività che potrete svolgere autonomamente tra una lezione e l’altra, se avrete tempo, come dei video da guardare su Youtube. Vi inviterò anche a scrivermi dei messaggi quando vorrete, per esercitare più frequentemente il vostro italiano.
