I began teaching Italian and German in 2019 and is now my job. In March I did the CEDILS exam to be a certified teacher of Italian. My goal-oriented lessons focus on the goals of the students and on developing simultaneously the 4 skills of language learning: Listening , Speaking , Reading , and Writing. My students generally love that they can learn grammar, vocabulary and phrases in a relaxed and friendly setting.

In fondo, Leggere libri e siti in italiano non è poi così complicato, Scrivere email e documenti di lavoro già presuppone una maggiore conoscenza della lingua, ma Parlare italiano… beh, è tutta un’altra storia e richiede un approccio ad hoc. Il Listening (l’ascolto della lingua) non basta: se vuoi davvero imparare a parlare in italiano devi fare pratica.

In 2012, in Curitiba, Brazil, I opened my own school, Corso Brancaleone, where I offered language courses in which, since the first lesson – even for beginners – we followed collaborative study paths on Italian art and history. It was a great experience that made me meet so many people interested in going beyond the common language lessons. Through the programs Italiano+Arte and Italiano+Storia you can learn Italian and at the same time follow a discovery journey into italian history and/or art history. Working with images, maps and videos, we can explore Italy’s fascinating events and cultural heritage while mastering the italian language.

I love my country, and I would like to teach my language to everyone who wants to talk about Italian culture, foreign countries, politics, music, tv, food. We will work on customising lessons, based on your level and goals. I care about my students and about forming a human relationship that can make our lessons both useful and enjoyable.

La mia prima esperienza lavorativa è stata a Siena, dove ho vissuto durante gli anni della mia formazione, laureandomi in Mediazione linguistica e culturale e poi in Didattica dell'italiano a stranieri presso l'Università per Stranieri di Siena. A Siena ho insegnato nel contesto migratorio, dopodiché ho continuato ad insegnare in Germania, lavorando con adulti e bambini, e con studenti universitari in Polonia. Attualmente vivo e lavoro in Germania come insegnante d'italiano per studenti di tutte le età.

My first experience with language-teaching and exchange (a good and useful experience) was represented by tandem language learning (when I lived in Brighton). My lessons are structured according to language proficiency levels set by the European framework. But, beyond that, methodology, approach and the relationship between teacher and student are all that matters. Language isn't just grammar. Language is a communicative act and grammar plays a fundamental role in order to learn a language. It can't be, however, the only way to "achieve the objective". I think you can learn languages if you don't get bored, if you feel enthusiasm, if you have passion for what you are learning.

How I would describe myself as a teacher? I would answer: friendly, precise, creative and keen. Attentive to students and versatile, according to their needs and goals. Eager to learn students’ sparkling eyes are my real engine! I always make every effort to pass on to them my knowledge and my fondness for languages and cultures in a friendly and inspirational atmosphere. I enjoy teaching and also learning from my students. I have taught for many years Italian in secondary schools and I have experience of teaching to groups of foreign students (both teenagers and adults). Trough all theese activities I have organized the course material that includes various topics and is divided into different levels of difficulty.

I teach Russian professionally since 2015 when I graduated from the Lomonosov Moscow State University. Also I’m a certified examiner (since 2020), I have the right to administer tests in Russian (ТРКИ, all levels). I teach Russian language at the Moscow school "LanguageLink", also I have private Skype students from all over the world. I teach Russian to adults at all levels.

I love to transmit not only the language, but also the cultures of Italy and Spain. For this reason I love to use movies, musics and so on during the classes, and I hope that our lessons will give you a taste of these countries. I have been living in Latin America for 3 years now teaching Italian online and in different cities. From Medellín to Guatemala City, from Lima to Santiago de Chile, and from Tijuana to Leticia.
