Insegno Italiano da tre anni, il mio approccio varia a seconda delle necessità dello studente. Tutti hanno un approccio diverso allo studio, il mio compito è quello di comprendere come aiutare lo studente a trovare il metodo migliore per imparare la lingua. Inoltre abitando a Londra mi sono trovata dalla parte dello studente per quanto riguarda la lingua inglese, questo mi ha permesso di comprendere le difficoltà di studiare una nuova lingua cercando di superare il semplice livello scolastico.

Quando andai alle superiori feci volontariato in un piccolo Summer camp in cui si insegnava inglese ai bambini delle elementari. Da questa esperienza imparai molto. In particolare, seppur scontato, capì che il parlare con una persona che ha l'inglese come madrelingua aiuta veramente tanto nella tua fluidità ed, in generale nelle tue capacità linguistiche. Per questo motivo, vorrei mettere in pratica i concetti appresi e nel caso chiarire ogni dubbio nato dalle lezioni con l'insegnante.

In November 2017 I obtained the certification "DITALS Level I" which qualifies me to teach Italian as a foreign language or second language to foreign adults (18 years and older) of any nationality and for any level you choose to reach. I attended a 30-hour training course at the Accademia Italiana in Salerno (a Ditals-certified institution) where I did an 82-hour internship in Italian classes for foreigners. Since then I have had many teaching experiences. In addition, with the onset of the pandemic, I did 80 hours of online teaching at a private school of Italian for foreigners to prepare for distance teaching, mainly via Zoom and Skype.

I'm an Italian language teacher, I already have experience in teaching Italian to kids, teenagers and adults. I teach students of all levels, from A1 until C2, and kids are welcome too. I'm very friendly and my lessons are very relaxed. I'll treat you with respect and patience, to ensure you feel comfortable and confident when speaking in Italian. I also love teaching children. Games, songs and lots of fun is the basis of these lessons. If you have 2 children, I'm happy to split the lesson into two 30 minute lessons.

I used to tutor children and teenagers in their school years helping them with subjects such as Italian grammar and literature. I am actually pretty much into classical literature. I also helped many adults learning Italian, especially my fellow East European and Arab immigrants. Since I've been on italki I've realized how much I missed doing this, and how much I love it! I still do not have any particular qualitication as a teacher (but it's actually in my plans) so I don't have the pretension to teach to an academic level. However, I do have a lot of experience, both live and online, and I do speak both languages on a native level, using them everyday in school, work and personal life.

I taught italian to foreigners as a volunteer in the past, and I enjoyed that experience so much, and I learned a lot from that. That's why I started my journey here on Italki, and that's definitely the best decision to make if you are looking for a language partner. Da dicembre 2020 insegno italiano agli studenti stranieri in alcune scuole di Milano. Trovo che sia una esperienza gratificante e molto interessante. Mi considero un'insegnante paziente e comprensiva.

Ho 3 anni di esperienza come insegnante di doposcuola e 1 anno e mezzo come insegnante di italiano per stranieri. Ho molta pazienza con i miei alunni e per me è una grande soddisfazione vederli migliorare man mano grazie all'impegno che entrambi mettiamo durante ogni lezione!!
