Since my university career, I have taught people language and not only language, but also scientific subjects. This has enabled me to consolidate an effective and efficient teaching method over the years.

I have experience teaching since I was in school, as I was tutoring younger students in Maths and English. Later, after I moved to Australia, I started pairing with English native speakers to tutor each other in our respective languages. That's when I realised how much fun it was to teach and share my native language! I know that learning a foreign language is hard, for some harder than for others. I also know how standardised language tests can be and absolute nightmare. I'm not a strict teacher, I just want to help you improve your italian without stress. I would like to make you talk fluently and teach you idiomatic expressions and correct your accent. Moreover, I think that being able to read and comprehend a text can be very useful if you want to travel to Italy. I don't focus on grammar (even if the grammar is always present when we talk and read)but I can help in case of doubts.

Ho insegnato italiano per quattro anni agli studenti stranieri della mia università e ho anche dato lezioni private sia ad adolescenti e a professionisti. Sono diplomato in ragioneria e ho dato molte ripetizioni su questo settore, quindi posso aiutare gli studenti che intendono migliorare la capacità di esprimersi in un contesto di business. So bene quanto possa essere difficile imparare una nuova lingua e per questo le mie lezioni sono sempre basate sulle richieste specifiche dello studente.

I am a very patient and easy going teacher. I am flexible and can adapt to the student needing. I like to make people at ease, because I understand what it means to be new to a language and not feeling confident in speaking it. To be considered that, since my classes are based on conversational practise, I only teach to students from A2 level. What I usually do is to set up a goal with my student in the first lessons, which can be as different as improving the use of grammar or working on the pronunciation. This helps me to understand the direction to take with my teaching technique, but also helps you to have a clear and concrete objective to reach.

The inspiration for this job came to me while I was a volunteer in Peru, in a small school in the Andes. There, I realized that I enjoyed learning other languages and that I could help others to do so, as I could speak about languages for hours! Since I started working I have never stopped!
