I am a very responsible, supportive and patient teacher. As i mentioned, teaching is my pession, so I always come to my lessons in a good mood, prepared and punctual. I am a professional German teacher and have a DSH certification and a University degree in education. I have a 7- year teaching experience. I teach German to all levels and also prepare medical professionals for the Fachsprachprüfung. There are many useful tips and case examples used in the medical language exam (FSP) which I can help you with. You will learn how to write a doctor's letter in a professional way and how to avoid beginner's mistakes. I can help native German doctors as well, which I already have as a part of my work at hospitals. We will practice how to deal with the most common questions of patients and how to communicate empathetically. We can practise with realistic case examples and note case anamnesis together, along with feedback in case you forget a question you have to necessarily ask.

My approach is friendly and involving, because I really love to help other people to learn a new language. Don't be nervous If you make a mistake: you're welcome to ask me questions, to repeat or ask me to reformulate.

Da ich bereits in Kindheitstagen stets geschickt im Gebrauch mit meiner Muttersprache war und ich große Freude im Schreiben fand, empfahlen mir meine Lehrer wiederholt, nach Schulabschluss Deutschlehrer zu werden. Aus sportlichen Gründen entschied ich mich jedoch für einen anderen Studienweg. Hier in Viet Nam nun als Online-Tutor Studenten auf ihrem Weg zur Meisterung der deutschen Sprache zu begleiten, scheint mir die ideale Möglichkeit zu sein, dem Rat meiner Lehrer schlussendlich zu folgen. Während meines Studiums in Russland habe mehrmals Praktika in staatlichen Schulen und in einem Kinderferienlager absolviert. Nebenan habe ich einige Jahre in Sprachschulen und als Privatlehrerin gearbeitet. Ich habe viele Erfahrungen mit verschiedenen Altersgruppen gesammelt. Heute studiere ich an der LMU in München an der Fakultät für Sprach- und Literaturwissenschaften im Studiengang Deutsch als Fremdsprache, um meine Kenntnisse im Lehrbereich weiter zu vertiefen.

I am curious, open-minded, and flexible, meaning that I always try to adapt to my student's needs. I believe that the more fun you have, the better you learn! My main focus is a conversation, however, I am open to go through single grammar topics and adapt my lessons accordingly.

After a short period of time in Egypt I was asked by friends and other people if I am teaching german or if I would be able to do so. So I mostly gave (private) conversational lessons as a part time job (for around 3 years). I am currently not teaching beginners or children!

I have taught German and English in several different circumstances. During my early internships in China I organized basic German and business level English trainings. In the German Chamber of Commerce, I was also involved in editing a yearly bi-language training brochure for special trainings in Shanghai. But I also taught English and German for a year in kindergarten, where I focused on fun in acquiring a new language. In Germany I mainly taught German privately, mainly focusing on the Testdaf-exam but also the German high school-diploma Abitur. Occasionally, I also prepared students for the TOEFL-Exam.

I am a very patient and encouraging person which is why I am trying to create a warm and inspiring learning atmosphere, where you as a student can feel comfortable and study German with me without any pressure. I try to provide you with a variety of vocabulary for different contexts and to mediate a feeling for intuitive speaking.

When I was in high school I discovered my passion for helping my classmates with homework and then I decided to bring this to another level and offered tutoring in the following: Biology, Geography, English, French and German. Later when I finished my degree in foreign language correspondence (mainly translation and correspondence in German, English and French) I started traveling a lot and I got to know people from other countries. I have regularly given one on one classes in many different parts of the world where I have traveled to and lived in. It has always given me great pleasure seeing people improve their language skills.

I am experienced with working with people of all ages. I enjoy working with students in groups and one-to-one sessions and love seeing them improve their german through my encouragement and tenacity. Fun is important and to create every lesson as unique as possible. I like to use role-plays and photocards in the lessons as that keeps the lessons exciting. Also, I use texts that are of interest to my students because I have improved my English grammar with reading. Most importantly it's the relaxed conversations in German I have with my students that improve my student's skills and gives them the confidence they need.

I have not only studied languages and acquired diplomas, I also perfected my skills while living abroad for a long time and traveling a lot. I have lived for example in Spain, Chile, Brasil and Portugal for several years, apart from my home country Germany of course! Since I am also learning different languages, I am aware of the difficulties and challenges involved and can help you with any struggles you might face and want to support you in the language learning process.

I am a firm believer in making learning - especially language learning - fun and am convinced that with this, dedication and immersion you can get pretty much anywhere in a language! But also: don't be afraid to mess up! Everybody makes mistakes when getting into a new language (I've been there), and sometimes it will seem like you'll never stop making the same mistakes, but I am happy to help and go over things multiple times.

I was often used to help refine the pronunciation and sentence building of my schoolmates, when I was younger. Thus, I can easily speak slower, with an accent that is easier to understand or use words which are more basic. I have learned a lot on iTalki, until now. I believe my teaching has improved and my system works. I have had complete beginners, thus I feel comfortable with taking the first steps with you. Nonetheless, I am also guiding more advanced students. I myself do occasionally make mistakes, whilst on this path of becoming a good tutor, if something surpasses my knowledge, I will make sure to find it after our lesson and fill you in.

I've been teaching German for many years and I've taught students of all ages. For me, every student is special and I prepare every lesson individually based on your learning style, needs and goals.
