Teaching since 2016 I specialise in technical and general online language classes mainly for care personnel (nurses). I am highly experienced in using web based document annotation apps, communication and meeting platforms, virtual classrooms and Learning management systems. I hold a TELC examiner license for Deutsch B1-B2 +Pflege which also allows me insight and knowledge of test formats and the CEFR guidelines and level requirements. I can offer both general and intensive German classes from Beginners to advanced levels (up to C1/C2) including all 4 competency levels (Speaking, Listening, Writing and Reading) as well as grammar reviews, exam preparation and proofreading.

I teach German with easy and fun steps. I do not teach grammar with complicated conjugation tables, but with a lot of funny examples. That way, the class does not get boring and the student keeps his interest. I enforce his learning by letting him read good German books, watch famous German videos etc.

I would describe myself as a professional, in the same time funny and supportive teacher. My goal is that the students feel comfortable with me, so that they don't hesitate to ask anything. I learnt languages as a foreigner as well, and I know exactly how to transfer this knowledge to others.

I'm very patient, so don't worry if you need more time to form sentences :) I'm an active language learner as well, so I understand the struggles that come with learning a language.

Der Grund meines Studiums der Germanistik (ab 2011) war vor allem der Wunsch Deutsch als Fremdsprache zu unterrichten. Bereits während des Studiums begann ich mit Abendkursen an der Volkshochschule, wo ich auf Niveaus von A1 bis B2 unterrichte. Spezialisiert habe ich mich dann auf die medizinische Fachsprache für Pflegekräfte und Mediziner und die Vorbereitung auf die Fachsprachprüfung (FSP), da mein zuerst erlernter Beruf Physiotherapeutin ist und ich daher mit der medizinischen Terminologie bestens vertraut bin.

Ich unterrichte seit dem Jahr 2008 Deutsch als Fremdsprache (Grundschule, Gymnasium und Berufsschule) und gehe individuell auf meine Lerner ein. Als Deutschlehrerin bin ich sehr geduldig mit meinen Lernern und ich möchte Ihnen helfen Ihr Deutsch zu verbessern und sicherer zu werden. Die Bedürfnisse und Ziele meiner Lerner sind mir am wichtigsten.

I intend to keep my classes entertaining and practical since this is the way to learn the most as I’ve experienced myself. We'll work with interesting texts about a lot of topics and also practice through common conversations. Just studying grammar and doing text book exercises is not the focus of my classes. Nos vamos usar textos e assuntos interessantes e também praticar a sua fala e melhorar a sua pronúncia na conversação. I found that I really enjoy 1-1 teaching and had the opportunity through the last years teaching dozens of students online, to constantly improve on my methods and the way I give feedback. As I grew up in Northern Germany, I will teach you the „high-German“, without any dialect. That's the way people talk on TV and Radio.

Hi, I speak a few languages myself, so I know what it feels like to learn a language. Languages are my passion, and I would like to help you with your path of learning German.

I am goal oriented and patient with my students. I am encouraging and kind to them as well. I am aware that learning a new language can be hard sometimes. That's why I like exploring the German language with you at your own pace and enjoy learning. The focus is on speaking in everyday situations. The associated grammar helps you to understand the language better and supports your speaking. While teaching children, I like using images and playing games to loosen up the time together and stay concentrated.

I have taught English in Vietnam and Thailand, and I have been tutoring German since one year on Italki. I focus on speaking skills over perfect grammar. In my opinion it's more important to use correct vocabulary, learn useful words, and use correct pronunciation than having perfect grammar.

I studied cultural studies and law as a minor in Munich and German literature and media studies in Hagen. I already worked as a editor during my studies and gave German lessons in an integration class. This means that I have already been able to gain a lot of experience in language training, but also in dealing with corrections for non-native speakers.

I do not use traditional language learning methods to learn languages or to teach them. They do not work well. Instead, I focus on building up a fundamental foundation of vocabulary and basic grammar, and then immerse myself and students in content that is made for native speakers. This is how the native speakers learn their first language, and it is the best way to learn any foreign language. Another thing that is majorly lacking in most classroom settings is actually speaking. This will not be a problem with me as this will be the main focus point of my lessons. I am a firm believer in the fact that you need to speak a language in order to learn it effectively.

Mein Ziel als Lehrkraft ist es, unsere Stunden spaßig zu gestalten. Wenn du als Schüler*in eine Stunde mit mir hast, sollst du dich darauf freuen und dir denken "Cool, heute wieder eine Stunde mit Constantin!". Ich habe mittlerweile einiges an Erfahrung gesammelt als Lehrer auf iTalki und kann mich mit vielen verschiedenen Menschen gut verstehen! Während meiner Zeit hier habe ich gelernt, dass es vor allem wichtig ist meinen Schülern Selbstvertrauen beizubringen. Denn nur wer mutig ist beim Sprechen einer Sprache kann schnell großen Fortschritt machen.
