I am a Community Tutor and My Lessons are targeted at intermediate to advanced Speakers. I am an Open Minded Person who's very engaging and empathetic in a Conversation. Learning a new Language can be difficult. I still try to argue fluent with my Dad in Italian. Currently im learning Japanese

Hello and welcome! My name is Natalya. I’m from Ukraine. I am fluent in Russian and Ukrainian which are my mother tongues. I have been teaching English and German for about 20 years. I really love my work and try to do my best so that its results could please both me and my students.

You can expect me to bring positive energy to the classroom. I will be a good listener in our class. During conversational lessons, I will ask you questions that make you think. For example, "What would you tell your 20-year-old self?" – maybe you will teach me something too:) If you are not interested in having high level conversations, I am not the right teacher for you. After our first class together, I will send you a Google doc with all of my favorite free English content from the net.

People usually say I am patient, open-minded, kind and optimistic. I love having deep, inspiring conversations, love learning from people and listening to their stories. I think that every human live is unique, precious and truly awesome in the original sense of this word — inspiring awe. I offer speaking practice in Russian, English and German. Russian is my native language, I was born and live since childhood in Moscow, I have very standard Russian with classic Moscow pronunciation and vocabulary. I am perfectly fluent in English and German. I don't "feel" these languages as good as I feel Russian, but I know German and English grammar through and through due to my university background.

I teach German to all levels and also prepare medical professionals for the Fachsprachprüfung. There are many useful tips and case examples used in the medical language exam (FSP) which I can help you with. You will learn how to write a doctor's letter in a professional way and how to avoid beginner's mistakes. I can help native German doctors as well, which I already have as a part of my work at hospitals. We will practice how to deal with the most common questions of patients and how to communicate empathetically. We can practise with realistic case examples and note case anamnesis together, along with feedback in case you forget a question you have to necessarily ask.

First of all, I will always help you to the best of my ability. I see myself as a conscientious teacher and want my students to do so too. Secondly, a German studying Korean, I know too well that learning a foreign language that is unrelated to your own mother tongue can be extremely rough, which is why I am very patient and calm when I teach. Speaking a foreign language can be really stressful, so let's take it easy.

Abhängig davon, wie viel Zeit/wie intensiv du Deutsch lernen möchtest, gestalte ich auch den Input in meinen Stunden. Das Wichtigste ist Spaß beim Deutschlernen haben, deshalb steht das immer an oberste Stelle! Depending on how much time/how intensively you want to learn German, I design the input in my lessons. The most important thing is to have fun while learning German, that's why this is always the top priority!

In 2001 I began to teach German as a Foreign Language at the German Cultural Center which is the official representative of the Goethe Institute in the City of Monterrey- Mexico. In 2012 I taught German at the University Regiomontana. It was very satisfactory to prepare students to obtain the Scholarships offered by the DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst) to study and to do their Internship in German companies

I see myself as a coach more than as a tutor or a teacher. This is because of my extensive experience, where I learned that language learners improve much better if they feel themselves in a secure setting, where they are not judged but counselled, where they can speak openly without limits about whatever crosses their minds. It’s in such a setting where creative and intuitive learning comes into play, which makes the process an enjoyable experience. And this is the point where language learning gets on a track where motivation never lacks, because learning is fun and satisfying. The study material I will send you during each lesson ensures you have enough activities for the week.

In Germany, I studied Art, Theater and Biology to become a teacher for high school students in these subjects. I completed my second state exam and continued working at different schools with my wish to move abroad and make more experiences in living and teaching far away from my home. Right before I moved, I was working as a teacher for remedial education and particular in teaching German to children with migration background. I was able to find suitable teaching methods for the different types of learning and individual needs to achieve the learning goals with the students together. I am excited to continue teaching in this way and to get to know you.

As someone who used to stutter and dislike languages (and especially the pesky grammar), getting into intense-self-studies to improve my English became my origin story. I worked as teacher for English in my hometown for 2 years afterward, after acquiring a C2 certificate from Cambridge. This encouraged me to also intensely study and re-fresh the German grammar, phonetics and teaching techniques (didactic) before starting to teach it online full-time. (it included a lot of head-shaking, and I’m a native) Through that, and my pursuit to master art I don’t believe in inherited talent, but pursued interest. Everyone can, through dedication, practice and fun, learn to speak a foreign language.

I also pay attention to details such as absolutely correct grammar and orthography. That doesn't mean, however, that my lessons are dry. I'm always ready for a joke to make a lesson fun. My students also appreciate my famous drawings that explain a language problem in a fun and easy-to-remember way. That's why my students call me Markus Picasso. You can study any level with me, even Telc exam preparations (I'm an official Telc exam expert).

Mir ist wichtig, dass du wirklich etwas aus meinem Unterricht mitnimmst. Ich habe bereits Erfahrungen und habe Deutsch in Mexico unterrichtet. My goal is always to get the student talking german right away. We start with basic small talks that you can use everywhere in real life. Reading german textes to improve your german, working with textbooks, pdfs, online sources and videos. I like using always different materials to keep the lesson interesting and challenging for you! Business German My background as a Journalist and doing Press-Work helped me, to teach german to clients in Ministries (Ministry of Culture Prague, Ministry of Industry and Trade Prague). I also teached Head of Communications and Marketing Pro's in Companies like Kaufland and Lidl, giving advice & coaching for meetings and presentations in the german language.

I have taught students in every age. My focus is on adults and students above 14 years old now. I love seeing my students grow in confidence in their language skills. I am attentive, friendly and motivating, sometimes demanding teacher and language coach. I used to work with Blended Learning System besides traditional teaching. Welcome!

I am a native German and English speaker and have professional experience teaching German to native English speakers, and teaching English to non-natives. Additionally, I have a bachelor's in language (Arabic) and though it is not the language I am teaching, this highly rigorous background in translation will be of benefit to both beginner's and advanced students. As a forever-learner of languages, I have the deepest respect for you and see us as equals. Right now I am learning AND teaching because there is always more to know :) Most likely, besides having a student-teacher relationship, we will become friends, the more time we spend together. For years I have been teaching friends and have learned several languages myself. Therefore I know the difficulties of learning a language and not give up on it.

Fortunately, in these last four years, I had the opportunity to give private lessons to children and teenagers of different ages and of different levels several times. I taught English, Spanish and German. I am often described as a very patient and organized person. What I like the most about teaching is to see the processes that the student goes through day after day, and above all how he/she gains confidence day by day. Since I had studied Philology I also have many bibliographic references, both in literary books and also in grammar. Another thing I like a lot is the reciprocal process of teaching and learning.
