Here in China I found a lot of people, both kids and adults that wanted to speak or learn from foreigners. As such I slowly learned how to teach people. Now I feel confident to teach English as well as Dutch. Teaching is a lot of fun to me, seeing students grow from beginners into full native speakers is great. After a long career in financial services, I have decided to take a different direction and have moved into a new field of Information Technology. Being in a business environment for a very long time gave me an advantage in business speech and communication however due to my technical pursuit I am able to converse even on the most technical of topics.

There isn't a clear boundary between "Me as a Teacher" and "Me as someone else". I think this is the best description about me: Teaching is my life. I am devoted to it so I can't separate myself into various faces. All I have is one face; my teaching face. I've been teaching for 2 years in a high school in the morning and some language schools in the afternoon. I understand a language as a system, so you just need to understand the logic of this system and then practice it. We'll do lots of exercises and of course practice lots of SPEAKING.
