I am friendly and patient and always professional and punctual. I love teaching and engaging with others in discussion. I have spent two and a half years working at a language academy giving classes to a wide range of students of different levels, ranging from babies to C2 proficiency classes. With teaching experience of about 23 years, I find myself very passionate about this career. I was only 18 when I had my first course as an English teacher and at the age of 16, I taught Farsi to my British classmate. Since then, I have always tried to develop confident and culturally fluent English/Persian speakers who can successfully navigate the social, travel, and business situations that they will encounter in their lives. The best part about teaching is to see students making progress in their language skills with your support. It is also important for me to create an atmosphere where my students would feel at ease during the lessons.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, and I have a TOFEL Certification from Oxford Seminars. I taught English in a university and business setting in China for eight years. I wanted to become a teacher because I like sharing ideas with people and knowing that through the power of communication, I can make a difference. I worked at a multicultural language school and taught many different nationalities from a beginners level up until advanced and have experience in teaching both group and private classes.
