In itaki I taught lawyer, pilot, doctors, English Translator, Professors, & Teachers as well. I am passionate about teaching and eager to let my students learn new things. Although my experience in teaching English is profound, I believe that learning should be fun, simple & easy going. I teach English from beginner to advanced/Business English. I had a chance to teach English to a pilot, an actress/talent, managers, as well as other business professionals from big companies in South Korea when I was with Asian-American Language Center & other previous companies I worked with. Each student is different & has different learning capabilities, so I will cater a class specifically for you.

I think the most important quality as a teacher is the ability to encourage learners. Learning a language is not always easy and there are ups and downs. And it requires quite a bit of efforts and dedication. I believe that a good teacher makes learning more pleasant even when learners bump into obstacles, and makes them feel comfortable and relaxed so that they can speak without feeling nervous. So I try to be a good listener. I also try to make each class fun and helpful with lots of preparation.

My goal is to help you speak English with confidence by improving your fluency. All classes are tailored to your specific needs, time, and interest. I use the Communicative Approach which is based on the idea that learning a language successfully comes through having to communicate real meaning. Hence, classes focus primarily on conversational English. In this approach, the objective is to present a topic in context to the learner as natural as possible as this is a highly effective way to help the language acquisition process. However, a grammatical syllabus forms the foundation of all lessons I teach and builds a framework to help learners acquire the English language.

My lessons would be very easy-going, patient and a need to help others to learn. We can cover a wide range of topics. I enjoy hearing and sharing opinions on different subjects such as the world news. We can cover basic chat through to a higher level of learning the English language, which is certainly a very important language to grasp. I help in my daughter's school once a week helping children to read, to understand what they are reading about, phonics and spelling tests.

I have worked for over 3 years as an English tutor and bring a high level of experience in communicating, from having trained for 4 years as a professional actress. This training requires in-depth techniques and understanding of the complex ways in which we communicate.
