I have taught English for more than five years and have just completed a Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, which I did through Trinity College, London. I have taught students of many ages and levels and in a variety of contexts such as General English, conversational classes, exam preparation and Business English. .

I am a registered school teacher and also have qualifications to teach English as a Foreign Language and Business English. Since I retired from classroom teaching, I have taught English to students in China, Poland, Romania, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland. I would like to focus my online teaching on Conversational English.

At university, I studied three foreign languages and then I did a Master's in translation. Studying translation made me aware of the importance of knowing my native language perfectly and throught my foreign language(s) learning I tried many types of exercises. As I am experienced in learning a new language, I feel like I can now help other people with it and adapt myself to their requirements. I am a kind and open-minded person and am also available to speak Spanish with you if it's your native language and you don't feel very comfortable speaking English.

I am here to help you achieve your goal and reach your objectives for learning Arabic, Quran, or English whether it was speaking the language, learning how to read or write, getting ready for your exams, communicating with your partner or whatever your personal reason is. Together we will tailor a curriculum that suits your objectives and makes you reach your goals efficiently. I believe I am very patient, encouraging and relaxed so even if you're a beginner I'd help you step by step to improve and speak fluently. I use different materials & methods that'd make you reach your ultimate potentials such as; flashcards, audios, videos, files, books ..etc.

When I moved to Argentina, I attended an international school where I met many English speaking students who were struggling with learning Spanish. When they asked for help in bettering their Spanish, I would put myself in their shoes as I listened to the mistakes they were making to understand why they were making those mistakes. Because I understood where the mistakes were coming from, I was able to explain why what they were saying was incorrect, and highlight the distinction between the way they were speaking and the way it should be said. I hope I can help you with your English same way I helped my friends with their Spanish.

I'm always patient in teaching and I try to be very friendly with my students.

I currently teach English Chinese students, ages 3 to about 14, despite not knowing Chinese myself. Therefore, I can help with more basic levels, as well as more intermediate and advanced levels. I am patient and willing to work through complicated material for my students' various levels. As a language learner myself, I understand how difficult it can be to learn a language. I am very supportive and encouraging, but I will also correct your mistakes as we go and inform you of what you need to work on.

What can you expect from me as your tutor? First of all, well-designed and interactive lessons that will focus on your needs. During the first session, we will identify your goals and your baseline; from there, I will develop a program for you that will help you to reach your goals. Moreover, you can expect a lot of practice between our sessions. I will be sending you a variety of exercises so that you can master your gained knowledge. You also will have immediate and objective feedback from me. I am open to communications, so if you have any questions during your homework preparation, send me a message, and I will answer it as soon as I can.

I really loved being an English teacher in Japan and continue to love teaching here on italki, helping people of all ages from all over the world become confident in the English language. I am dedicated to supporting my students on their language journey and adapting my lessons to their specific needs. I am a true believer in learning natural English rather than robotic English that is taught in textbooks alone. I understand that learning a new language can become boring and stressful, but I aim to make sure lessons are exciting, fun and enjoyable. I hope that my students look forward to their lessons with me.

As a foreign language learner myself I know what are the struggles that a student might have when learning a language. So I'd be glad to help and advise you on your language journey! I've taught English online to students of all ages from Kazakhstan and Russia since my student years and now on italki along with English I also teach Kazakh and Russian to students from all over the world. I have studied foreign languages and literatures at university and on my own. I studied at schools and universities in Russia, Malta, Norway and Kazakhstan, so I know differences in educational systems in different countries. I can speak Russian, English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and some German, Norwegian, Hebrew, Arabic, Kazakh and Chinese. I have been tutoring students for ten years. I am a patient teacher and love helping people.

I love teaching and helping people improve and feel confident about speaking a new language, focusing on the strengths and weaknesses of every individual student. My classes are very dynamic, I do not like to focus on grammar but rather on fluency and improving conversational skills. I believe having conversations on various different subjects is the best way to learn and practice a new language. From basic simple topics about everyday life to more complex talks about business, travel and more.

I have several years of experience teaching students from the ages 14-18, right up to retirees! I started teaching as part of my university degree, which resulted in me becoming a qualified English teacher in the Netherlands. I am able to use the aspects of my upbringing to my advantage when it comes to teaching English: I am able to understand what it takes to learn English as a foreign language, while also being able to share the subtleties of the language as a native speaker. I’ve taught business English, prepared students for trips abroad and I have experience preparing students for Cambridge exams. Whatever your goals, I’m sure we can work together to achieve them.

I teach with patience and will provide with useful tips on correcting your pronunciation as a non-native speaker. If you have certain topics that you would want to learn with me, we can discuss on it and start lessons based on the topics.

I believe the best way to learn a new language is through speaking it. With me you are in a judgement free zone where you can give it your best shot and i'll be sure to help you out. I will work to come up with plans for your lessons to get you closer to achieving your goals. Life is very relaxed here so I have great availability for when you would like to schedule your lessons.

After obtaining TEFL Certification from the Language Institute at Chiang Mai University I taught classes at Pro Language Chiang Mai in 2008. I remained there until returning home from Thailand in February of 2009. Since then I have done private English tutoring in Thailand, Mexico, and United States.

I simply find JOY in what I do! I like to create a friendly-environment where my students can enjoy a rich learning experience. I always plan my lesson in a way that addresses the various needs and different learning styles of my students. I am a creative teacher who likes to make her own materials and activities that would be fun and engaging.

As a teacher I tailor lessons to you, and focus on the areas which will help you build your confidence as an English speaker. I like to get to know my students, to understand how they learn and help them reach their goals. Working with people of all ages means I can adapt lessons to be formal or casual, based on your needs. I like to push my students to try new things, and have fun along the way!

I am currently a senior in college, and I am a teaching assistant for Japanese.  I help teach Introductory Japanese as well as Intermediate Japanese, so I am familiar with how a course is laid out in a higher education environment.  I have personally tutored many of my friends, family, and colleagues, and I have enjoyed every bit of it. Teaching people Japanese and English is one of my passions, and I would love to take part in the journey of learning a new language with you!

As stated in my introduction video, I am a TEFL certified ESL English teacher. I have five years experience teaching English as a second language to people of all ages.
