Hello, everyone! I'm Haruka. I live in Hyogo, which is located next to Osaka, so I speak standard Japanese and Kansai dialects. I have studied abroad in the U.S. and lived in Canada after that, so I speak English, too. I like reading, watching movies, traveling and more! Lately, I've been into YOASOBI, and the anime "Kimetsu no Yaiba" Also, I just started to learn Spanish and Shakuhachi, which is a Japanese traditional flute mainly used for meditation. Speaking of my personality, I’m bright and friendly anyway! Even if you are starting Japanese from scratch, or just wondering if you should learn it or not, no problem. Today, Haruka and I went over the fundamentals for, に、で、と、へ。i also learned how to form a sentence with her. 「2じにしごとへろまでいきます。」We also went over days of the week, and months. So i really need to focus on that. Overall I’m happy to be learning from Haruka. Its crazy to me how much im memorizing in such a short span. Cant wait for the next lesson!

Today, Haruka and I went over the ikimasu, okimasu, doko (いきます)　(おきます) （どこ）She had me form sentences like, どうやって だいがくへいきますか。and also how to respond. In our spare time between new lessons she taught me new words and phrases to remember like, なんで which shouldnt be used for the question above. Sometime next week, we will be going over how to form questions and sentences involving time. Im very excited to keep learning from her!

Today Haruka-san really helped me with some grammar questions I've had for a while. She's a wiz with the whiteboard! She's obviously a very experienced teacher.

It was a great lesson where we practiced speaking for a full hour. I had a fun time and learned a lot of new words.
