Hi, I'm Alexandra. I come from Bucharest, Romania and I am currently living in the Netherlands. I enjoy reading, writing, practising sports, watching Netflix (sometimes a bit too much) and I love animals. Another thing about me is that I am dyslexic and I know how frustrating it can be when all the words start sounding the same or you have the word on the tip of your tongue or the fear of speaking and looking like a fool.For a long time learning languages was a pain for me, however over the years I learned what works and what doesn't and I met teachers that taught me how to enjoy the process of learning and speak with confidence even if sometimes I make mistakes. Now I can speak 4 languages.

我的教學經歷

My role as a tutor is to make you feel comfortable with using the language and gain the confidence you need. I know the self doubt you may feel (will I ever be able to learn this?), the frustration and the anger. My purpose is to overcome all this and enjoy the process of learning. From my own experience as a language learner, I know what works and what is wasting your time and I am happy to share my experience with you.

我的課程內容與教學風格

From my experience as a language learner, I discovered that we have different learning needs and what works for one may not work for another. However, one thing that works in 100% of the cases is using the language. Therefore my lessons are focused on conversation and making you feel comfortable in using the language on a diverse palette of subjects. If you want I can adapt the content of the lessons to your needs and learning style as well as if you find it useful share some advice from my own learning journey. One of my purposes is to make you enjoy the learning process and look forward to our sessions.
