Hi, my name is Zakieh. I was born and raised in south of Iran before moving to Tehran to attend university. I studied medicine and a couple of years after graduation I moved to UK. I've been able to speak English since I was fifteen and learnt German a few years ago. Currently I'm working on improving my German before starting to learn a new language. I enjoy painting, writing,singing and occasionally playing Setar (a traditional Iranian musical instrument).

I like to make the process of learning things as easy as possible. Seeing my students improvement gives me joy, so I like to make sure that they understand the lesson. I'm patient and will adjust my teaching method to my student's way of learning in order to gain the best results.

我的課程內容與教學風格

If you are a beginner I'll teach you a mixture of alphabet, core words and phrases, typical greetings and conversation topics. I always type important parts, while I'm teaching you and when needed, I send the pdf files that I've prepared. If you are in higher levels we'll use less English and have more conversations in Farsi. we can talk about either everyday topics or specific subjects.

I had a wonderful lesson with Zakieh. We talked about sports and exercise in Iran, the U.S., and England and about the obesity crisis as well. She is a great community tutor.

I really enjoy my conversations with Zakieh and like the way she helps me expand my vocabulary about specific topics. Today we talked about Iranian music and its comparison to Western classical music.
