Kamusta? I'm Liza and I'm born and raised in the Philippines. I started as an elementary teacher but has since transitioned into online teaching. Because of this, I have gained teaching experience both in classroom settings and online environments. On a personal level, I have a wide range of interests, including but not limited to chess, music, inline skating, and fitness. I also like learning about other languages and cultures and I am currently learning French and Bahasa Indonesia.

我的教學經歷

As a teacher, I firmly believe that teaching is not just relaying information or giving lectures within the four corners of the "classroom" (or computer screen) so I make sure that each class is interactive. Most of all, my goal is to make learning fun and easy for my students and it always warms my heart to see them improve and to hear that they love taking lessons with me.

我的課程內容與教學風格

I focus on teaching PRACTICAL Tagalog and you can be assured that I will NOT give you random vocabulary lists of fruits, vegetables, and animals in Tagalog nor will I make you memorize them. That said, I do believe that studying grammar and building vocabulary are important aspects of learning a language, especially for beginners, so we would still include them in our lessons. But most importantly, I will focus on teaching you the structure of the Tagalog language so you make sentences on your own.
