I am Daria, a CELTA-certified language teacher and an English Literature graduate. I specialise in exam preparation and speaking training and I have more than 6 years of professional experience in Canada, Italy and Russia. Being an immigrant myself, I enjoy working with students who are planning to move abroad. I help prospective international students to foster their speaking skills so they can achieve their best IELTS score and make meaningful connections abroad. I believe that working on your speaking skills will help you build a new identity in English, make a new circle of friends and business connections so you reach your full potential abroad.

我的教學經歷

I am always kind and attentive to every student. Before we begin I always conduct a needs analysis to understand what skills you need to develop the most and how to get you there in the most efficient way possible. I create a digital classroom for every student so all the materials we use in class and homework will always be available to you. I can express grammar in small logical bites and help you with strategies to learn and use new vocabulary.

I use the communicative method and my students actively practice all four skills during the lesson (listening, reading, writing and speaking). I always give my students the freedom to choose the materials. I have digital versions of many textbooks with audios and videos included and I also enjoy using TV Series and books to teach English.
