hello, I’m Sori native speaker of Korean! after graduating from high school, I went to Australia with Working Holiday visa for two years. I enjoyed talking and meeting new people there, especially it was fun to introduce Korean language and Korean culture to foreign friends who are interested in Korea. so I wanted to meet you guys who want to learn Korean through Italki! nice to meet you! 안녕하세요! 한국어 원어민 소리입니다! 고등학교 졸업 후 호주로 워킹홀리데이를 2년 동안 다녀왔어요. 그곳에서 새로운 사람들을 만나면서 이야기를 하는 것이 즐거웠고, 특히 한국에 관심이 많은 외국인 친구들에게 한국어와 한국의 문화를 알려주는 것이 재밌었어요! 그래서 이렇게 Italki를 통해 한국어를 배우고 싶은 분들을 만나고 싶었습니다! 잘 부탁드립니다!

我的教學經歷

I have never taught someone as a tutor or teacher, there are many memories of explaining Korean language and culture to foreign friends in English at Australia. So I also want to be an Italki teacher who can explain, have a conversation together rather than teach someone. 튜터 혹은 선생님으로서 누군가를 가르친 경험은 없지만 외국인 친구들에게 한국어와 문화를 영어로 설명해 준 추억이 많아요. 그래서 저 또한 누군가를 가르치는 것보다는 설명하고 이야기하고 함께 대화를 할 수 있는 그런 Italki 선생님이 되고 싶습니다.

我的課程內容與教學風格

I couldn't speak English at all before I went to Australia. I also spent really hard time with my poor English. That's the reason why I can understand how difficult it is for you to learn Korean. I also know how struggle it is when there's a lot of things you want to say but don't know how to say it. so I'll do my best to make it easy for you to communicate in Korean by creating an atmosphere where you can understand and communicate with each other. :) 저는 호주에 가기 전에 영어를 전혀 할 줄 몰랐어요. 좋지 않은 영어 실력 때문에 힘든 일도 많았어요. 그래서 저는 여러분이 한국어를 배울 때 얼마나 어려운지 이해할 수 있어요. 하고 싶은 말이 많지만 어떻게 말해야 할지 모를 때가 얼마나 힘든지도 알고 있어요. 그래서 서로 이해하고 소통할 수 있는 분위기를 만들어서 한국말로 소통할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠습니다 :)

소리쌤 is the best iTalki teacher I've had! I've taken six lessons with her and plan to do many more. She is extremely accommodating, bright, and motivates you to continue learning. Her explanations of Korean is detailed yet easy to understand and always includes cultural context to allow you to learn proper Korean. Can't wait for my next lesson!
