Hello, my name is Meike. I am a native Indonesian speaker who is also fluent in English and Chinese. I studied English in university, after that I went to China and stayed for a year to learn Chinese language. Currently I am an English teacher in a private school in Indonesia and also an online bahasa Indonesia teacher. I am very passionate about teaching and have been a teacher for about 5 years now. I love learning new languages and likewise, I also like teaching others the languages I can speak.

我的教學經歷

I am easy going and patient. I will respect other's personal spaces as I know we might have different cultures and all. Most importantly, I will try to keep motivating you to achieve your goal in learning the language! Do not be discouraged if you are not a fast learner, we can always think of a way out and I will try to accommodate you in every way possible. If you have any request or anything you want to share to improve our lesson, do not hesitate to tell me because we are working together to achieve the same goal! :-)

我的課程內容與教學風格

I am very committed to helping Indonesian language learners learn further about my language according to their needs. I can help you with all the language skills (speaking, listening, reading, and writing), grammar, pronunciation, and also colloquial words. Since language cannot be separated with culture, we will also talk about Indonesian habits and cultures that might be different from yours. If you want, I can teach you not only Indonesian, but as well as a little Javanese, my local language. It will be interesting. You can also practice your Indonesian with me. We can use bahasa Indonesia to talk about a wide range of topic and therefore also learn more vocabulary during our lesson.
