Hi everyone! My name is Laia and I am from Barcelona, Spain. I have lived in the Netherlands and Belgium since i left Barcelona 6 years ago. I got my BSc in Biotechnology in the University of Barcelona and after that, my MSc in Management from the University in Delft, the Nederlands. Right now I live in the south of Nederlands working in a Chemical Company in Logistics. In my free time, I love to read about history, economics and also novels. I also cook and run. If the weather is not good, I use to go to the gym or boxing. I also enjoy a lot meeting up with friends and traveling as much as I can.

我的教學經歷

What I liked the most was the satisfaction of having encouraged someone to see studying as important and not as a boring mandatory activity. I always loved languages and to help fellow students, so now I´m looking forward to doing that again. I am also a very friendly, sympathetic person that is always there to give a hand and hear what you need.

我的課程內容與教學風格

In the classes, we can focus more on grammar, vocabulary, or conversation. I will organize a plan depending on each student to satisfy your needs and level. I have thought students that they are beginning and just want to be more comfortable speaking in the new language but also others that want to perfect it and answer their questions. For this reason, I use different methods for teaching: we can use a more strict method and focus on exercises in one of the teaching books, we can also practice some dialogs, we can have a chat or we can play some games like Kahoot where you practise but in a more interactive and fun way.

Laia was interesting and engaging. She worked hard to understand my broken Spanish and my intention. She asked good questions and kept the conversation flowing. I appreciated her efforts, the way she slowed down and explained things for me and her use of different words if I wasn’t comprehending. It was a fun class. Thanks Laia!
