My majors are English Language and Korean as a foreign language. I was fascinated to teach what I know while I was an English teacher in Korea for four years and I learned how to pour love to my students by spending quality time. Moreover, teaching Korean at the university in the USA made me feel more proud of what I am doing as a native speaker. As a teacher, I consider communication as well as knowledge as the top priority to know what students are struggling with and help with it properly. I can be your friend-like teacher! 我的課程內容與教學風格
As a language learner, I prefer to learn grammar, but I found out that it is not helping me to speak fluently because the knowledge of grammar stops me from speaking in the language freely. So my class will be more focused on real-life conversations, then supported with the grammars related to them. Korean Teaching Trip AdvisorContacted several schools in Korea to collaborate with the English Summer camp and held the workshops to inform the students in Tougaloo College as native teachers of Korean cultures including history, food, clothes, traditions, and language. Worked on the Korean trip schedule and the accommodation on a budget.
2018 - 2019
Korean Instructorimplemented the Korean teaching three times a week each for beginner and intermediate classes for two academic semesters and had the extra classes for the traditional fan dance and K-pop dance and performed on International Day. Held the Korean Movie Nights promoted with the self-made flyers on campus.

As always today's lesson also went by too quickly! After a quick recap of the last lessons through roleplay conversations we went on to cover the new topics of how to tell the time and place of events. Thanks to the lightweight style of teaching her lessons and the helpful quizlet flashcards I am advancing quickly but at the same time with great fun!

Even though I have been struggling more than usual with Korean this lesson wirh Jinsol was very motivating. We went through a few listening comprehension TOPIK questions and also a short descriptive essay after our usual introductive smalltalk. Thank you as always!
