I’m a Cambridge/CELTA qualified professional native English teacher with over 3 years experience in the classroom environment. I began teaching in International House Dublin which is part of the IH network spanning 52 countries with over 160 language centres. I’ve been teaching in a public school and private language centre in Hanoi since February 2019.
I’ve taught General, Academic and Business English to students from all over the world. I teach Business English focusing on specific skills such as meetings, presentations, interview skills and vocabulary of Business. I’ve prepared classes and 121 students for IELTS & TOEIC exams while also tutoring postgrad students preparing theses. 我的課程內容與教學風格
What is my teaching style?
Conversational, structured and blended approach.
Work with the student to develop a plan for learning. Gives the student and teacher a roadmap of where they want to get to and how to get there.
Method & Materials used?
Primarily conversational, tasks/activities, video, audio, articles & podcasts, authentic materials.
Conversational & situational role play with discussion/analysis/ interpretation.
Business case studies - articles, video, audio, Tedtalks, elearning tools
IELTS/TOEIC test papers. online resources and authentic materials.

碩士 - Business & Information TechnologyI’ve spent 12 years in and around academia. I’m a graduate of Ireland’s foremost university Trinity College Dublin which is a sister college of Oxford and Cambridge universities in England. I hold BSc(Hons) and MA degrees in Business & Information Technology. I also hold an MII Diploma in Marketing. I won a Phd scholarship (Health Sciences) in 2018 but decided not to accept. I’ve spent 4 years doing post grad research in Anthropology exploring themes around narratives of mental health.

I had a trial lesson with Tom where we discussed my aims and how to achieve them. I recommend Tom as a teacher as he listens to everything very carefully and gives his conclusions/recommendations really to the point.
