I'm Brazilian but learned English at 6 and have taught it and translated for almost 20 years. I have a degree in English and Portuguese Language and Literature and a Masters in International Relations. Now I'm a law and graphic design student. Sou brasileira, porém fui alfabetizada tanto em português quanto em inglês, pois morei nos EUA na infância. Sou professora de inglês e tradutora há quase 20 anos, fiz faculdade de Letras, mestrado em Relações Internacionais e atualmente estudo Direito e Design Gráfico.

我的教學經歷

In the first half of my career I worked at English schools, but for almost ten years have been a private tutor, translator, interpreter, and proofreader. I teach how to research and correct your own language with the tools available online. No início da minha carreira eu trabalhei em cursos, mas há 9 anos trabalho como professora particular. Me vejo mais como facilitadora, pois estimulo a pesquisa online e autocorreção.

我的課程內容與教學風格

I have a vast digital library and my apporach is completely customized to students' needs and learning styles. I use a little of each method accordingly. I always try to keep a balance between the practice of the four skills (reading, writing, speaking, and listening). I love using phonetics for pronunciation. Minha abordagem é totalmente customizada para as necessidades e estilo de aprendizagem de cada aluno, utilizo um pouco de cada método (language translation/audiolingual/communicative etc) de acordo com a necessidade. Procuro trabalhar sempre as 4 habilidades, porém com o foco que o aluno mais precisa. Gosto muito de trabalhar com fonética para a pronúncia principalmente.
