Hello everyone. I am Maiko. I have lived in Fukuoka, south of Japan. I moved to U.S 2/10/2020. Since I was a child, I really like talking with people from all over the world and experience a new culture,foods. I have traveled Canada,Hawaii,Las Vegas,Malaysia,Mexico,Cambodia,Germany,Philippines. I want to see and visit all over the world. I like hiking ,cooking,yoga,climbing,traveling,dancing,talking about nutrition thing,singing,swimming,eating! Let's enjoy learning and talking with me!

我的教學經歷

I’m a certified Japanese teacher and started to teaching Japanese since 2017 one on one, face to face or via online. I understand that talking other language in a group conversation is a little bit hard. You might have a experience that you were just focus on listening and could't talk a lot. Don't worry! I can help you and I'm very patient and encourage you. So please make a lot of mistake in my class! Then you can improve your Japanese skill! I had worked as a dietitian at a clinic for people with diabetes and other illnesses for 9 years. I also sometimes worked as a receptionist. And I still work as a nutritionist via online. So,I can teach you about specific Japanese words and culture.

我的課程內容與教學風格

★Every one is welcomed! ★ I use some text books and a lot of visual materials for beginners. For intermediate and advanced students, I use some textbooks some articles, sometimes youtube videos,songs,anime,newspaper articles. I can give a good lesson if you are interested in health and nutrition. I recommend you to book a trial lesson, we can chat about your learning aims and make a plan for you if you like the look of the plan then you can book a package of lessons ★Cancellation Policy: At least 24-hour notice should be given for a lesson to be cancelled or rescheduled. Otherwise, no refund will be issued (as the system doesn’t allow me to offer the lesson to another student).

Passes the qualification test of a dietitian at graduation, and as a dietitian, can prepare menus and provide nutrition guidance to people with illness at hospitals.

DietitianFutata Tetsuhiro clinic - Fukuoka, 日本Specialized clinic for diabetes and thyroid. As a dietitian, I trained 10-15 people who has diabitic, high blood presure, high cholesterol,and GDM a day. At the same time, I helped with the work of the receptionist. I worked from April 1, 2011 to January 31, 2020 and moved to the United States on February 10, 2020.

2019 - 2020

Japanese TeacherCafe Talk - Fukuoka, 日本I registered for an online job in October 2019. I work as a Japanese teacher and a dietitian.

2019 - 2020

Japanese TeacherBisin Japanese Net School - Fukuoka, 日本I register in November 2019 and teach 2-5 people one to one a day. I do lessons according to the level,using PowerPoint.

2019 - 2020

DietianMedically - Fukuoka, 日本I do nutrition counseling for people who is pre diabeitic, high blood pressure, high cholesterol. Most of the people have to lose weight. I help them counseling and giving a useful information.

Thanks for the lesson today, Maiko! We finished up chapter 8 and did some good practicing. I appreciated your explanation of the が particle outside of what the book gave! Your examples helped me understand the actual meaning of the particle rather than trying to only remember the situations to use it in. I'm looking forward to learning more with you and starting chapter 9 with you soon! I'll try my best to get some practice in during my move to Washington.
