Hello my name is Deborah Rhoden and hold a BA (hons) degree in Business and Management and a certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). I have spent the past 5 years working in secondary school and gaining valuable experience along the way. I have always been passionate about helping people to be the best they can be and working with children helping them to learn is very rewarding. Now as a qualified ESL teacher my desire continues to want to work with students one on one basis or group basis, helping them develop the English skills they need to create new future opportunities they want.

My learning style is very inclusive. I have a warm and friendly approach to teaching. I consider the needs of the learner whether they are kinaesthetic, auditory or visual. I use different techniques to accommodate the learning styles and a variety of resources to make my lessons interesting, fun and enjoyable. I am very patient and welcome mistakes, which I like to call ‘learning curves’, as once the mistake is made we learn from it and move on. I am passionate about helping students to achieve their life long learning goals to enable them to be the best they can be.

All lessons are tailored around your needs. They are designed around your goals and to help you achieve your learning objectives. Once we have established your needs and wants and why you want to learn English we will start putting things into practice. Whether its to increase you communication and get that well paid job, off to university or to live and work in a different country. We will working together in getting you there offering you support, motivation and encouragement every step of the way.

I studied 6 month with Deborah. She is amazing for help me in my english. I feel I can speak with more security. she help me to prepared in interviews, and always she was worry if I understand or need more information.
