Hello, my name is Iulia and I live in Rome. I am a university student and a part-time language tutor. I was born in Romania, where I lived during my very first few years, then permanently moved to Italy with my family. Growing up between two cultures wasn't always easy. The Balcans are actually pretty different from Western Europe, but it taught me a lot and helped me develop as a human being. And it also had some great perks, like growing up bilingual. I also speak English and a bit of Spanish. I love travelling, and already visited 10+ countries in Europe. My passions are languages, phylosophy and books in general. 我的教學經歷

I used to tutor children and teenagers in their school years helping them with subjects such as Italian grammar and literature. I am actually pretty much into classical literature. I also helped many adults learning Italian, especially my fellow East European and Arab immigrants. Since I've been on italki I've realized how much I missed doing this, and how much I love it! I still do not have any particular qualitication as a teacher (but it's actually in my plans) so I don't have the pretension to teach to an academic level. However, I do have a lot of experience, both live and online, and I do speak both languages on a native level, using them everyday in school, work and personal life.

我的課程內容與教學風格

I offer both conversational and grammar classes. As far as conversation is concernerd, you shall know that I am a really open minded person and we can talk about any subject. You just pick it and we can have a really nice chat. We can also discuss articles and videos, or just go with the flow, as you prefer. For grammar classes I can provide books, voice messages, quizzes, whatever you like and think that could work for you, I am open to it. In any case I think communication is key as they say, so tell me who you are, what you like, why you want to learn and what do you prefer and I will try my best to personalize every lesson for you and to have a really productive lesson!

Lulia is a really knowledgeable teacher who really understands what she is going over. I feel like I am learning a lot from her. We are working on a lot of grammar currently and she is really helping me to improve. I feel like I have learned a lot in just the short time that we have been working together. She gives homework at the end of each of her lessons, which I think really helps to understand the lessons. I am very happy with the lessons that she gives and excited to learn more!
