As a born-and-raised American, I realize how valuable my natural fluency, thorough vocabulary, and intuitive diction are in an international environment such as Berlin. Having spent the first 21 years of my life in The United States, I am versed not only in formal English speaking and writing, but also in the less-often-taught colloquial language that characterizes native-speakers' language. I have extensive experience with proof-reading, vocabulary development, articulation/inflection guidance, and colloquial grammar.

我的教學經歷

In my five years teaching English lessons online and in-person, I have worked with numerous students from a variety of linguistic and cultural backgrounds including Korean, Italian, French, Russian, Chinese, Dutch, Israeli, German, Turkish, Polish, Japanese. My students have ranged from young elementary-level English learners to PhD students, university professors to business professionals working in highly specialized fields. I hold a 168-hour TEFL Certificate, issued by The TEFL Academy, accredited by Qualifi, the DEAC (Distance Education Accrediting Commission) as well as a Certificate to Teach IELTS issued by Cambridge English Language Assessment of Cambridge University.

I like to work together with my students to identify their linguistic needs and intentions in order to choose methods that enable them to reach their goals, quickly and effectively. Lesson structure, length, and frequency all vary depending on the needs and desires of each individual student. I can help you improve your pronunciation/inflection, vocabulary, grammar, listening/comprehension, reading, writing, native/idiomatic fluency, and general communication skills. Whether you need to pass a language exam or prepare for a school or job application, if you want to improve your English skills for your current professional field or simply enhance your ability to express yourself, I can help.
