I SPEAK ITALIAN, WHAT'S YOUR SUPERPOWER? Ciao a tutti! My name is Valeria and I am from Milan, in the north of Italy. I am a native Italian speaker and teaching Italian language, culture and lifestyle is not only my job, but also my biggest passion. I have always loved languages, cultures and books! As per my spare time, I like watching movies and TV series, hiking in the mountainous regions of Northern Italy and traveling...traveling a lot! Furthermore, I have been an ambulance EMT since 2009 in the Italian Red Cross. You can find me on Instagram as @italianoconvaleria, where I create contents about Italian language, grammar and culture.

我的教學經歷

I graduated from Università Statale di Milano in 2013 in "Foreign Languages and Literatures". After university, I obtained a 1st Level Master in "Promoting and Teaching of Italian Language and Culture to Foreigners". In 2013 I was an intern at the Italian department of Kennesaw State University, USA. My Master’s final project was published as an article in an specialized Italian LS/L2 magazine. After my Master, I had many teaching experiences, also with Individuals with learning disabilities, both in Italy and in the USA. I worked in Pennsylvania as a Teaching Assistant for the elementary, intermediate and advanced Italian language and culture classes at Bucknell University, Lewisburg.

I always focus on the needs and level my students are at before the lessons. The most important thing for me is that you enjoy our lessons. Learning has to be a positive process, without anxiety, fear, boredom. I am a professional but very relaxed person: we can have a conversation or I can plan a more structured lesson about grammar or Italian culture, with PowerPoints and other types of files, if you need them. As I lived abroad, I have a lot of experience talking to Italian Language Learners so don't be afraid to talk during our lesson. * Before your first lesson, please write me or book a trial lesson so we can discuss your goals * * My lessons last 25/40 or 55 minutes "
