I am a certified TEFL teacher who's patient and encouraging, and will do my best to help you speak fluently in English or Chinese without fear. I am currently learning Spanish as well, so I know all the struggles in learning a new language.

My lessons will focus on improving conversation skills. I will help you with pronunciations and teach you slangs and expressions used by locals in daily conversations, so you would be able to sound more natural. I believe that the best way to learn a language is simply by chatting, so I emphasize on speaking and active listening. I will also help you with different types of oral exams and interviews.
我的课程主要是帮助大家提高口语水平。我会帮你纠正发音，以及教你教科书里学不到的日常用语以及网络用语，从而让你听起来更地道。我觉得学语言最好的方式就是单纯的聊天，所以我比较注重听和说。我也可以帮你准备和各种的的口语考试以及工作面试。我的教材

很棒。Iris的英文发音很好听，语速也刚刚好，一段时间下来，我觉得自己的发音比之前好了很多，哈哈。另外，可能是由于老师自己也在学习第三门外语的原因，也可能自身对语言的理解和表达能力就很强吧，总之很快的就能正确理解我要问的问题。会推荐给其他朋友。

Iris is a great teacher. She's very patient, understanding of my needs/goals and always comes prepared. Her lessons are a lot of fun. She's helped me make tremendous progress with minimal effort. I very highly recommend her as a Mandarin teacher! Thanks Iris!
