In the lesson, I hold firm two main principles: first, providing a comfortable environment, second, creating an encouraging atmosphere. My students always tell me that I am very patient and organized.
I consider that I developed an aptitude for making learning Turkish become much easier, enjoyable and practical for my students.
My professionalism also allows me to tailor language education according to individual interests, needs, and capacities.
When teaching Turkish, promoting cross-cultural awareness forms an important part of my lessons. Teaching the language involves both the students and myself in a dynamic conversation about our cultural backgrounds. 我的課程內容與教學風格
I adapt the materials according to the learner’s needs. If a learner is interested in basic vocabulary or dialogues, I organize the lesson accordingly. Or if another learner would like to focus on conversation, I’m happy to create speaking lessons. Even though I use a communicative approach, all my lessons are supported by a solid knowledge of grammar.
According to me, a basic but correct conversation is really important for self-confidence in any language. If a learner can master basic sentence forms, the rest will come much easier. On the other hand, making mistakes is also very important. Especially, a learner can not speak without making a mistake the first and second time.我的教材

Başak is the perfect teacher. She is structured, she has a good command of the material and she is patient and allows the student to make mistakes - with notes and corrections that can be studied after the lesson. Furthermore, Başak gives homework and is quick to correct texts outside of the lesson hours. For anyone who is serious about learning Turkish, Başak is the perfect choice.

We continued with unit 6, Başak was very supportive and gave a lot of helpful tips with learning the “(A)biler” grammar. She also makes me feel very at ease to practice speaking Turkish together. Looking forward to the next class!

We reviewed more grammar concepts of “-biler”, along with a listening exercise. Başak was very supportive in helping me to to understand how to use this concept with different tenses and was able to provide extra material for me to learn. She also makes it very easy and comfortable to practice Turkish together!
