I grew up right outside of NYC and spent 3 years in Germany studying, teaching English, and exploring the world. Since then, I've moved back to upstate New York in the USA to teach High School German. I have a BA in German Language and Literature and I am working on my MS in German Education. I have two years of experience teaching English at a German school, many years of tutoring experience, and have been teaching at an American high school since September 2020. I love hiking, filming, photography, cooking, and technology.

我的教學經歷

I have had a lot of experience in professional and freelance settings. I've tutored and taught English, German, and History since about 2013. I am currently working on getting my teaching degree at SUNY Oswego in Oswego, NY. I like to have a personal connection with my students in order to get my students comfortable and motivated to learn English or German. I feel language learning only works when the students are comfortable and not intimidated.

Let's start with a conversation, and then we can work on our topic and dig deep into the grammar. I will use a lot of different digital medias but also lots of book scans, as I have a huge collection of English and German grammar books for all levels (A1-C2). With this huge collection, I am able to cater the lessons to your needs. I can do any approach you need- business, OR everyday situation (conversational). You WILL have homework and I will expect that you come prepared. I offer various types of classes, from as basic as conversation practice to as advanced as test preparation!
