My name is Kaluba which means "small flower" in my mother's tribe language. I live in Zambia, located in the southern region of Africa. I come from a big family and I am the second from last born of Eight children. I love animals and have two dogs. I learnt Russian when I was studying in Russia from 2014 to 2016 for a degree in Veterinary Medicine. I left to return to Zambia midway through my course but I really enjoyed my brief stay in Russia. I enjoy long walks and dancing when I'm alone at home. I occasionally draw and write poetry as way to relax mind. I especially enjoy current affairs and learning about different cultures . I hope to travel the world more frequently .

我的教學經歷

I speak British English therefore my pronunciations ,spellings and definitions will be based off the British syllabus. My first teaching experience was as a Conversational practise tutor at a small private English school in Tula, Russia. I understand what it's like to learn a new language, and how hard and intimidating it can be. So don't worry, I am very patient and easy going. I use a slow paced tone with all my students to allow them to hear and understand words clearly. I have a good sense of humor to keep lessons fun and interactive. Humor also lessens the tension that comes with ordinary classroom settings ,therefore expect to feel much more comfortable and free to express yourself.

我的課程內容與教學風格

My lessons and teaching style involve frequent conversational practise through role playing of everyday situations in order to build a students confidence in speaking English. We can go through texts and articles in which ever topic the student prefers to help them with their pronunciation and improve their knowledge of words and their meanings. Interactive games of my design are a fun way to get students interested and motivated to learn more about a particular subject and it's also a tool to teach general knowledge about the world. I offer proof reading of reports, homeworks , assignments for students that take English classes or courses in College/University.
