Hello!
My name is Aoi. I'm a Japanese teacher and a translator.
I love playing the drums with my band, travelling, aerobics, eating and watching movies and youtube, Netflix or comedy videos.
I love talking and get to know people. So I wanna help you speaking Japanese by talking about various topics such as life, emotions, family, news, music and etc.

I have been teaching Japanese as a volunteer for 5 years at several Japanese language schools in Tokyo.
I have worked as a preschool teacher and a babysitter total 4 years. I've taught Japanese to a 3 years old american girl.
I'm good adjusting to your speaking level. So beginners are always welcome! and of course advanced level as well!
私は東京のいくつかの日本語学校で5年間ボランティアとして日本語を教えてきました。作文の直し、会話の練習、語彙を増やすお手伝いなどをしました。
現在は、一人の生徒に個人的に日本語を教えているのですが、その生徒は文法と会話を中心にやりたいということだったのでそういった要望に合わせた授業を行っています。
保育士とベビーシッターとして働いた経験もあるので、簡単な文法や語彙を使って話すことも得意です。 我的課程內容與教學風格

my lesson is mainly a conversation practice and read need or articles. But I can adjust to anything you want to learn. I have Japanese textbook pdf.
So first, we will talk what you mainly want to learn and then I will make a nice lesson for you.
MY LESSON HAS A SPECIAL SERVICE!!
I make a list of new vocabs and correct grammar mistakes. So that you can look up and self study after the lesson.
主に会話のレッスンをやっていけたらと思っていますが、もちろん生徒さんの要望にこたえられるレッスンにしたいので、語彙を増やしたり、文法を説明したり、方言や若者の言葉などなんでも知りたいことは教えていこうと思っています。
私はレッスン後に、生徒さんがレッスン中にわからなかった文法や語彙をリストにして送るので、そこからまた自分で勉強をして次のレッスンで復習することもできます。我的教材

葵居先生はとても積極的な人で、私の必要に備えて時間をかけましてくれました。Aoi took the time to be sure ahead of the lesson that she understood what I was hoping to get out of our time together and she made special preparations to accommodate my requests. During our lesson, we read a children's book featuring a kitten, and Aoi made sure to correct my pronunciation as we went page by page. As I am working hard at sounding more and more like a native speaker, she even made sure to critique elements like the onomatopoeic sounds （ひらひら ぴょこぴょこ）to make sure my inflection sounded natural, which I found very helpful and encouraging.

ありがとうございます！ It was so good to see you again! It's been almost a month! After seeing each other every week since New Years, going so long between lessons was strange. I'm looking forward to seeing you "next week" LOL. 🥰

I had an excellent first conversation with Aoi sensei. We touched upon various interesting subjects that I don't usually converse about and she is a very attentive and natural teacher! The most notable thing she did during our lesson was write down all the mistakes I made in my speaking and send the notes after the lesson. No other teacher has done that before and I thought that was super awesome and helpful =)
